Uniform Law Review - Revue de Droit
Description
A successor publication to the yearly L’unification du droit (1948-1972), subsequently six-monthly under the name Uniform Law Review, this journal has been published in a new series since 1996. It offers a unique instrument for reflection and the provision of information on the political and technical problems of the harmonisation of law world-over, with an ample part being reserved for the work carried out in UNIDROIT. A quarterly of more than 1000 pages per year, it includes articles, sections devoted to documentation, commentaries and news on bibliography, and case law on uniform law.
By reason of its general vocation, the Review finds its readers by preference in universities and, increasingly, among practitioners. It is distributed by subscription and is given free of charge to a considerable number of institutional addressees (depositary libraries, Governmental institutions in member States and non-member States, organisations that co-operate with UNIDROIT as regards legal co-operation with developing countries and countries in transition to a market economy).
The editors of the Review are working towards the placing of the publication on line, either free of charge or against payment. The complete text of the material accumulated with an annex in the form of a database will provide a considerable number of easily accessible references.
