Why the Foundation deserves your Support

By supporting the Foundation you will make a valuable contribution to work on uniform law to:

contribute to reduce legal risk, particularly in cross-border transactions for which national laws have proved seriously inadequate
promote economic growth in developing countries through the provision of a sound and stable legal regime
help to bring about a gradual convergence of different legal cultures and traditions
provide ready on-line access to international private law conventions, model laws, restatements and court decisions on uniform law which will be invaluable both to practising lawyers and to legal scholars
assist in providing young lawyers with an international lawmaking perspective, thus broadening their horizons and increasing the value of their work at home

You can support the Foundation by:

making donations to the Foundation's general fund
making capital endowments for specific projects or posts
sponsoring projects, seminars and other events
providing for the secondment of young lawyers to assist in research and co-ordination of project-related work
making bequests to the Foundation by will.
